Mike is a founding Partner at TSP Ventures and part of the Investment Team where he helps discover, evaluate and execute opportunities. He also works closely with portfolio companies on strategic planning and future capital-raisings.
Mike is a graduate from London School of Economics where he read Politics, Economics and Philosophy. He is a CFA Charterholder, having completed the three years of challenging exams in 2018.
Mike has packed considerable experience of the M&A and corporate finance landscape into his relatively short career, having been involved in a variety of transactions whilst working as an Associate in the Strategic Investments Group at BGC Partners. This included leading on acquisitions in Canada and South Africa. After leaving the Strategic Investments Group, Mike was directly involved with devising and implementing BGC’s growth strategy into Insurance Broking, a new vertical for the firm. This involved identifying and closing acquisitions, starting new business lines and overseeing organic initiatives.
He is a keen outdoorsman, sports fan and enthusiastic about health and fitness. If he wasn’t working in Venture Capital, Mike would be travelling the world on a motorbike.
