George is a Senior Associate at TSP Ventures, assisting the Investment Team in sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities. He also supports TSP’s portfolio companies with ongoing strategic advisory work.
Prior to joining TSP Ventures, George spent over 4 years working as an Associate in the Strategic Investments Group at BGC Partners, initially with Chris and Mike. He was actively involved in the execution of a large number of global acquisitions as well as providing broader support to senior management in assessing other strategic initiatives, such as the build-out of BGC’s electronic businesses. In addition to gaining buy-side transactional experience, George also worked on a sell-side mandate and successfully led the sale of one of BGC’s Commodities divisions to a competitor.
George read Economics at the University of Bristol, where he graduated in 2015. He became a CFA Charterholder in 2019, after completing the three years of exams whilst working at BGC Partners.
George is a keen follower of sport, traveller and disco music enthusiast. In his spare time, he plays football alongside Adam for the Old Tonbridgians Football Club, likes to run and learns Spanish
